Juan Klaus has chilean roots and was born in Munich. He plays guitar, bass, keyboard and didgeridoo. Since the year 2006 he played in different bands (ewexcess, film in the film, return the queen). From 2008 til 2011 he studied composition with a focus on soundtracks for movies in Munich and since then he composes music for shortfilms and commercials. He also works together with several artists on sound art installations. He is specialized in electronic dance music. His style is a mixture of classical instruments and harmonies and experimental psychedelic elements. In 2013 he composed the music for the dance theatre show OPERCULUM – looking for Heimat.
